Employees of the various Ministries and other Government agencies will compete for honours and bragging rights when Coordinator of Sports within the Foreign Affairs Ministry, James Lewis, stages a competitive day of sports at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac on Sunday August 30.
Activities will get underway at 09:00 hrs sharp with a 6 overs a-side tapeball cricket match followed by knockout dominoes tournament consisting of 4 players per team. The winners and runners-up would be competing for medals, trophies as well as cash incentives.
Entries for both competitions close on Tuesday August 25. To date, the organizers have been assured of the support of Regal Stationery and Office Supplies, Action Tyre, National Sports Commission and the Director of Sports.
Notwithstanding, the organizers are beseeching added support and those entities and individuals wishing to contribute are asked to call the coordinator, James Lewis, on telephone #s 672-6179 or 666-5857.
