Sanjay’s Jewellery sponsored golf clinic ends today

Today, participants in the inaugural 2015 Free Summer Golf Clinic – sponsored by Sanjay’s Jewelry Store of 48 Sheriff St, Campbelville – completed their training and will pass out with anticipated delight at the experience.
Club Assistant Secretary Treasurer and Grounds Superintendent, Deanand Bissessar, who has been fully involved in the Clinic in every aspect, has been himself appreciative of the keen interest the participants maintained in the game. Starting with some 20 participants, the weather interrupted training for over a month, but some 15 of the original were there to pick up the training after the clinic resumed. Participants’ ages ranged from 8 to 70, and four – Samuel Carter, Gwenette Carter, Glennena Haynes-Smith, and Leon Bowlin, who were in the above 60 group, stayed through and enjoyed the experience.
The clinic which began on Tuesday 14th was originally scheduled to end Thursday 30th July, but the weather caused the Clinic to be closed after one week.
The Lusignan Golf Club expresses its gratitude to the News Media which has helped greatly in the promotion of the Clinic, and to the sponsor, Mr Sanjay Persaud, who came on board at short notice to be the sole sponsor.
