Forrester all-round heroics propels to OCA comprehensive win
An outstanding all-round performance by Georgetown Cricket Club all-rounder Winston Forrester guided Ontario Cricket Academy (OCA) to a comprehensive 278-run victory over Totally Cricket Club when the Toronto District Cricket Association premier division 50-over tournament continued recently.
Forrester stroked 139 as OCA posted a challenging 378 all out in 48.4 overs, batting first. He shared in 256-run third wicket stand with Nikhil Dutta who slammed 105.
Iftikhar Khan grabbed 5-40 from eight overs for Totally CC who were sent packing for 100 in 32.4 overs in reply. Abdul Jabhar scored 43 and Malik Sondhi 25.
Forrster snared 3-1 in 3.5 overs, while Nico Adams and Mamik Luthra had two wickets each.
