Several players ended the Payless Variety Store sponsored yearly held August holiday camp, on winning notes when activities culminated with a table tennis competition at the Goed Fortuin Community Centre August 9 last. Activities were conducted under the auspices of the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) and facilitated participants between the ages of 5-25 years old.
The table tennis tournament was successfully staged and Kristian Sahadeo won the 10 and Under Open Category, with Alexandre DeAbreau and Dravid Manohar finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Navindra Persaud won the 15 and Under Open category with Nickolas Jordon and Darren Manohar ending 2nd and 3rd respectively. Keron Patterson triumphed in the 18 and Under Open category with Joshua Browne and Navindra Persaud occupying the 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
Kristian Sahadeo and Ken Sahadeo distinguished themselves after being adjudged Most Valuable Player and Most Disciplined Player respectively. Coordinator of activities was GTTA/IAAF levels 1&2 certified coach, Muniram Persaud.
