The Boyce & Jefford Track and Field Committee yesterday hosted its annual Offficials’ Refresher Course in Linden ahead of the upcoming August 15-16 Track and Field Classic at the Mackenzie Sports Club Ground, Linden.

Technical Director of the Boyce & Jefford Track and Field Committee, Mark Scott supervised the workshop, which saw contributions from trained officials, including Pamela Phillips. The workshop has been an annual feature of the meet aimed at developing the capacity of officials.
The officials went through the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) rule book and were trained on the new developments as it pertains to the rules governing athletics.
