– NaMilCo also on board
Tucville-based Fruta Conquerors 8th Annual Football Summer Camp received a significant boost yesterday when Managing Director of Colours Boutique Milton Branford handed over a quantity of footballs to Club Secretary Daniel Thomas during a simple ceremony which was held at his business location on Robb Street.
Thomas speaking on behalf of the club thanked Branford for assisting the Camp, adding that the businessman has always responded positively to many requests that the club has made over the years.
He said the act of goodwill by the business entity will go a long way in helping to develop young footballers, while also serving as a good opportunity to keep the youths who’re enjoying a break from school gainfully engaged during the period.
He urged other business entities to follow the footsteps of Branford and help in the further development of the game and sports by extension.
Branford, who is known as someone that sports associations and athletes can depend on for assistance, has been in the forefront of offering help for sports development.
Assisting in the presentation of the footballs was staffer Shondel Kandar, who handed over the balls to Thomas in the presence of other employees.
Thomas disclosed that NaMilCo is another entity that came forward and offered assistance for the successful running of the Camp and he extended gratitude on behalf of the club as well.
