The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) is inviting the public to attend and share their views and concerns at the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Town Hall Meeting that is slated for today, July 22, 2015 at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) pavilion, starting at 18:00 hours. The event is organised and executed by the WICB.
President Whycliff ‘Dave’ Cameron, Vice-President Emmanuel Nanthan, and Director Anand Sanasie will host the proceedings. The topics of the Meeting will be wide-ranged; and can be any area that is cricket related.
This Town Hall Meeting is one out of a series of Meetings that started in Barbados in May, moved to Dominica in June, and St. Lucia last week Friday. The aim of the undertaking is to give cricket fans and administrators across the West Indies the opportunity to air their concerns directly to the heads. The hope is that the interaction with the public will provide valuable ideas to develop the cricket industry in the region.
