Former Magistrate, Haymant K. Ramdhani launches lawsite

Defence Lawyer Mr. Haymant K. Ramdhani who was a former Magistrate, is now providing a legal platform where the public can easily access areas of the law and practise their constitutional rights and freedom.

According to Ramdhani, it is of significant importance that every citizen knows the laws of their country and more so their legal rights and to be able to recognize when these very rights are being infringed on, and the course of action which one can take to remedy the infringement.
The lawyer stated that some of these rights are bail consideration in both the Magistrates’ Courts and the High Court, issues of landlord and tenant, domestic violence and maintenance applications, drafting of legal documents such as Wills etc.
Mr. Ramdhani said, “Readers must bear in mind that the site is information-based and therefore sets out to provide quick access to legal information and not “legal advice”.
“It may not answer all of your legal questions. Consequently, it does not replace an Attorney-at-Law. Further, many legal problems require the help of good lawyers whether it be advice or representation. However, a careful study of the site may help you to ask the right questions and to properly decide if you need an Attorney-at-Law.”
