The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has named its male and female squad to compete when Guyana hosts the first stage of the Inter-Guiana Games (IGG), August 6-10, at the Cliff Anderson Sport Hall.
GTTA has named a representative group of players from which a team will be selected to take on Suriname and French Guiana.
The male players named include: Shemar Britton, Kyle Edghill, Elishaba Johnson, Stefan Corlette, Sheldon Atherley, Miguel Wong, Alec Hopkinson and Nicholas Romain.
The female players are: Chelsea Edghill, Priscilla Greaves, Neveah Clarkston, Selenas Jackman, Aneka Phillips, Abigale Martin and Davonna Bess.
The GTTA noted that it has discussed, identified and will be meeting with a panel of Coaches to sort out commencement of final preparations of the team.
