A couple, who just cannot seem to get along, found themselves before a Magistrate after they had a confrontation.
Akeem Thom, 23, a mini bus conductor, of Lot 248 Pike Street, Kitty, was placed before the court for assaulting
Shanice Thomas, the mother of his child.
It is alleged that on July 10, at Lot 73 Campbellville he assaulted Thomas, so as to cause her actual bodily harm.
The defendant denied the allegation before Magistrate Ann Mc Lennan.
In relating the facts, Police Corporal, Deniro Jones told the court that on the day in question, the defendant approached Thomas and dealt her several cuffs to the left temple and one to the mouth.
However, Attorney Paul Fung-a- Fat argued that his client is not too well in his head and had suffered head injuries years ago.
Thom was released on $15,000 bail and was asked to keep the peace.
