He again failed to stop but continued ruthlessly where he struck down Matthew Mc Bean, 19, of No. 35 Village along the Public Road.
After the accused was found guilty three weeks ago, his Lawyer, Chandra Sohan had asked for a probation report.

Magistrate Singh before passing sentence took into consideration, that the accused had spent six months in jail before being granted bail and a further three weeks since he was found guilty.
He then sentenced Persaud to four years in jail on each of the three charges- a total of 12 years. The sentences will run concurrently thus, Persaud will serve a maximum of four years.
