Dem boys seh…De night club curfew got people leffing wuk early

Is one thing when something face people. Is another thing when people face something.
Rum Jattan decide that once is two o’clock in de morning dem night club must close. It ain’t mean that dem must put out everybody by two o’clock because dem would have to stop selling by one o’clock.
Wha it mean is that de bar must close at two o’clock. Wha actually happen is that some mek bad fuh others.
Dem didn’t care how much noise dem mek because dem had friends in high places. People complain till dem get sick. Old people use to wish dem dead because dem can’t sleep.
That is when something face people. Dem boys now see that from de time wuk done Friday afternoon, all dem young people disappear. Dem believe that dem got to start partying earlier fuh meet de two o’clock deadline.
But is wha happen Saturday at de Waterfalls paper that mek dem boys laugh.
Before de sun gone down reporters disappear. If dem use to run to assignments like how dem run out de office, things woulda been very good.
Saturday night by nine o’clock dem night clubs full. Normally, dem empty till midnight. That is  good thing because dem bartenders and dem waiters gun go home before day clean. But is Rum Jattan who got problems. As soon as dem night clubs shut dem door de people going to Rum Jattan house and park up outside.
One man seh that if he got sense he can mek more money than Jagdeo; all he got to do is open a bar under he house. He ain’t got to play music suh nobody can complain about noise nuisance.
De aim is to limit dem road accidents that does happen at dem hours because everybody does believe that is dem alone pun de road.
But all this coulda be avoided if people did tek time and build dem night club in a soundproof manner. Then dem coulda close de door and nobody coulda complain.
Dem boys seh that de one good thing is that people does adjust. And more people gun go to wuk early de next morning.
But knowing Guyanese, dem would buy dem rum fuh de after sport.
Talk half and watch how de seawalls gun get popular again.
