Troy Bobb of the Guyana Police Force turned in a commendable performance to capture gold in
a Martial Arts tournament held on June 28 in Trinidad and Tobago.
Bobb achieved the feat competing in the black belt masters open kata. Guyana’s other representatives Garfield Newton of Black Hawks academy placed second in high kick and sparring, and third in self defence, while Dellon Hyman of the National Martial Arts Association landed silver in the open kata 35 and over category.
