With the aim of improving their community through sports, a small group of Lindeners in collaboration with Lawrence Johnson will be hosting a King Dominoes competition on June 28 at Watooka Complex in the mining town of Linden.
The competition which is being dubbed ‘Desert Eagle’ will see the winner pocketing $500,000. Entrance fee is $1000 per person and nomination commences at 09:00 hrs.
There will be other attractions including a ball room dance off which carries a first prize of $10,000.
Players from Berbice, Georgetown and Linden are expected to battle for supremacy.
Meanwhile Mark Wiltshire will stage a two-in-one-out 4-game tournament on the same day at the said venue. Entrance fee is $10,000.
