The Flying Ace Cycling Club (FACC) of Berbice has selected a strong seven man team to participate in the annual National Cycling championship slated for this weekend in Georgetown.
According to founder and coach, the club which is one of the top clubs in the country will be represented in the veteran’s and female categories.
Their charge will be lead by former national champion Gary Benjamin and he will be supported by fellow veterans Syborne Fernandes, Wasim Hassnu. Benjamin was the champion in 2008 and again in 2010.
The female cyclists will be led by former national champion Marica Dick and Whitney Poyer.
