Brooklyn X2 to host seven-a-side football in Linden
Brooklyn X2 promotion will be hosting a grand inter-ward seven-a-side football tournament on July 6 at

Wisburg Secondary School ground in Linden. Among the teams slated to take part are Blue Beery Hill, Silver City Valley Combined, Christianburg, Amelia’s Ward, Mines West Wakatoo and Central Mac Kenzie.
Entrance fee is $3,000 and the winning team will take home $100,000, the runner up $50,000 and third place $20,000. Coordinator Marlon Washington said there will be lots of giveaways for the fans, music and a bar.
Banks Beer, I-Cee, Bella’s Lumber Yard, Babloo Car Rental, Foreign Links, Jermain and Sons Grocery, Melissa Brewley of High Rollers FC, Snooks Variety, Jacks Restaurant and Bar are some of the sponsors on board so far.
Admission is $500 and action gets underway at 12:00 hrs.
