Championship.
Playing at the Timehri Red Ground under cloudy skies with a constant breeze blowing across the venue which was once the mecca of football on the East Bank; Diamond stood rock solid as they set about demolishing Camille’s Institute.
The game was reduced to 70 minutes having got underway some 55 minutes late; but the late start didn’t take away from what Diamond had in store for Camille, in fact it perhaps assisted them in the final analysis, since 20 minutes more would have certainly reflected a wider margin of victory.

landslide win, leading 2-0. The opening goal which came on 10 minutes was off the boot of Dezil Crawford (netted a double) who whilst standing solid in defence displayed his all-round ability which includes daft dribbling skills.
Crawford on multiple occasions dribbled his way into the attacking third unleashing some powerful left foot shots that kept Evans busy. His second goal came in the 45th minute and could have ended with a third but was denied by Evans.
Crawford took the ball from his defensive position and worked his way down the left flank dribbling past every Camille player ending up in the six yard box but his shot was pushed away by Evans.
Justin Williams inked his name on the score sheets in the 14th minute while getting into the act also was Ralph Niles in the 50th minute. Denzil Mellville netted a consolation goal for Camille Institute in the 27th minute.
