The Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club, organizer of the Assuria 5 overs knockout Cricket Tournament has been forced to postpone the game due to the rainy season. Club Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster disclosed that the organisers received an email from the Human Resources Manager of the Albion Estate, Mr. Vemen Walters which stated that the Albion Cricket Ground would be unavailable for the next three weeks due to the weather as a lot of maintenance work has to be done by Management.
The organisers, Foster stated, would set a new date for the tournament after discussion with the official sponsors. The teams which would play in the tournament are Rose Hall Town Bakewell ‘A’, Rose Hall Town Bakewell ‘B’, D ‘Edward, Blairmont, Young Warriors, Albion, Courtland, Tamarind Root, Tain Block 4, Port Mourant, Whim and Yakusari. These teams are encouraged to call the club office on 337 – 4562 for more information.
