Georgetown Cricket Club batsman Winston Forrester recently crowned a fruitful stint in Trinidad
and Tobago where he represented Brasso Flanagin Los Atajos (BFL) in the Central Zonal Division one tournaments.
Forrester, who recently returned from the Twin Island Republic, played four games in the league (3-day) and notched up 260 runs with one century, two half centuries. He also picked up 14 wickets helping his team to top of the points table with 132 leading second placed Orange Field (who have a game in protest) by 14 points.
The winner of the league gets promotion to the Championship next year. Forrester was instrumental in his team winning the 40-over quarterfinal with a fine 70, but they lost the semis in which he only managed 26. He scored 191 runs with two 50’s from five games in the T20 version.
