He has been a pivotal pillar in the Golden Jaguar set up and will be aiming to continue in a similar vein when Guyana starts its Road to Russia campaign against St. Vincent & the Grenadines, next week.

“St. Vincent has always been a good team and they always put up a fight against us but our team is much stronger and the guys are all ready for this challenge. I’m focused because the way I see it, this maybe my last World Cup sojourn so I want to give it my all. I’m committed to taking Guyana further than last time.”
A permanent starter with FF Jaro, Moore will be joining the Golden Jaguars in St. Vincent on Monday after playing a game on Sunday, according to Head Coach Jamaal Shabazz, “Walter is a player who has a total understanding of how we work our approach and his role.”
The left back, left midfield player also indicated that he just wants to do the job his Coach wants him to do and be a positive role model to the younger players.
He noted that the overseas based players have strengthened the Golden Jaguars with their experience which can only see the tem getting better.
The positive Moore also had some words for the fans: “In 2011, we did not beat Trinidad and Tobago alone we had the help of thousands of supporters, you guys were our 12th man and you have given us that much needed energy to go out there and get the job done. So I encourage you to come out on the 14th of June and let us get the job done again.
