The talented Reline showed her skills in the junior weapon kata and in the 12-14 traditional kata. Coates captured the male 15-17 black belt, while Michael Jones overcame Colwyn Benn and Kwenza Thompson to take the male 18-34 sparring. Reece claimed the mixed 18-34 self defence.
Anthony Jeffery thumped Shiloh Cameron (2nd) and Orlando Cummings (3rd) to win the male Kumite 15-17 division. Rich Skinner won the male 18-34 sparring ahead of Reece (2nd) and King Cameron (3rd). Corwin D’ Anjou copped the individual sparring 18-34 black belt, while Rodwell Alleyne placed second.

The senior male black belt title went to Corwin D’Anjou while Kwesi Patrick (male), Louis Reline (female) and Ramjohn took golds in the junior segment.
Orlando Cummings captured the male 15-17 kata; other winners in the kata division were Mark Garraway male 12-14, Troy Bobb male 18-34, Floyd Morris male 9-11, Osafo Glenn male 18-34, Cledwyn Adams male 7-9, Roshawn Jeffers male 7-9, Ronda Samuels Marie and Roberts females 18-34, Garren Newton male four and under, Reece male 18-34, Uedwin Adams male 6-8, Crystal Rehana female 9-11, Oslyn Adams male 15-17, Bhadesh Shikmand male 18 and over and Dion Bobb male 35 and over.
Kevin Rampersaud of Trinidad and Tobago took one gold, two sliver and one bronze in the 12-14 sparring, team kata, self defence and open in that order, while his team mate Aashiq Ramjohn was successful in the weapons open forms and placed second in the team kata, sparring and self defence. He also finished third in the tradition kata. Best of the Best who teamed up with Kalari and Kung Fu of Trinidad and Tobago was awarded the top club accolade while Hapry Eagle placed second and Black Hawke third.
The trio of Nicholas Brathwaite, Corwin A’njou and Colwyn Benn (GUY) won the team kumite, while Rodwell Alleyne, Kwesi Patrick and Joseph Rahaman representing Team Alleyne (GUY) captured the self defence prize.
The tournament was sponsored by Richard Wang of King Panel (Huston), Best Buy Pharmacy, Rainbow and Photocopy Centre, Ministry of Education with responsibility for sports, China Trading and Regent Guess House.
In a brief remark, Professor Quacuy Baveghens of Best of the Best school thanked the participants and sponsors.
