The Berbice Cricket Board recently learnt of the selection of national senior opener Rajendra Chandrika to the West Indies 14 man squad to face the mighty Australians in the upcoming two test series.
The board takes this opportunity to congratulate him on his achievement and wish him well in his international career.
The board encourages Chandrika to stay focused and grab this opportunity with both hands. The release added that, Chandrika’s selection will surely motivate other young cricketers in Guyana and the Caribbean.
Chandrika also played a few matches in BCB cricket competitions and was set to represent Bermine now Tucber Park in first division cricket in Berbice.
The board also congratulates young and talented Barbadian wicketkeeper batsman Shane Dowrich and wish him and the entire team well.
