A mechanic was yesterday released on $125,000 bail after he pleaded not guilty to a wounding charge when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Claude Coachman, of 443 Kaneville, East Bank Demerara, denied the allegation which stated that on May 23, last, at Wineperu Backdam, Essequibo River, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Roger Gonsalves, with the intent to maim, disable or disfigure him.
The charge was read to him by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine- Beharry.
