Stacy Marshall who was reported missing on Monday last, apparently came home after overstaying at a friend’s house. The teenager who resides at Canal #1, West Bank Demerara was allegedly at an undisclosed location, but was reported safe by her mother who described the situation as “a matter of misunderstanding”.
The 17-year-old was reportedly at a friend’s house but “overstayed her time and became afraid”.
She had left home around 5 pm on Saturday to go and receive some items from a cousin and said she would be back in two hours, but did not return. The young woman was reported missing by her father on Monday morning.
However on Monday evening her mother contacted this publication informing that her daughter was at home and safe.
The mother, Jenny Henry, confirmed that her daughter is safe and in the custody of her parents, and asked that the public be notified as to the development.
She subsequently visited the police station in which the report was initially made, whereas the teen was questioned and sent home in the care of her parents.
