People never celebrate independence like how dem celebrate this anniversary. Was a time when dem use to go and watch a flag-raising ceremony, couple soldiers march and then dem go home. This time dem see drills, display, watch dem best people sing and then dem hear dem president talk real powerful.
Donald refuse to celebrate wid dem people and decide to go to Port Mourant to keep a parallel ceremony. He couldn’t get dem truck from Guysuco, because he don’t control dem anymore. And de few minibus people who help he out during de elections disappear, because all of dem want to show Soulja Bai that dem supporting him.
De result is that a few people tun up. Dem boys couldn’t hear what was going on, because long time de Chronicle and GINA and Hen See Hen woulda deh reporting pun even de spit that fall from Donald and Jagdeo mouth. Now dem mek an about turn. All of dem run behind Soulja Bai who really put on a spectacle.
Jagdeo put on a spectacle too. He cry like a baby when he hear that he got to ask permission to lef de country, because he is a man who does get bored when he spend more than two weeks in Guyana.
He didn’t have to go to court when he sue Freddie but he had to go when Chris Ram charge he. Dem boys seh that Ram was waiting fuh he day. When Jagdeo hold a forum at de Cultural Centre and when Ram get up fuh talk, Jagdeo holla pun de man and tell he sit down, that he can’t talk.
Ram wait five years. He smile when de magistrate tell Jagdeo that he can’t talk. When de case done Ram ask Jagdeo if he remember de day at de Cultural Centre. Jagdeo was shame. That was when he start to cry.
Berry Berry didn’t go to de court because de last time he was there he get into problem wid a woman and lost he wuk. Donald knock he off. Berry Berry get spiteful and he pray fuh Donald get knock off. So said; so done. De people knock off Donald.
