There will be singing by the Woodside and Joint Schools’ choirs along with a display by hundreds of students, and prayers from religious leaders.
President Granger is expected to address the nation, and this will be followed by the announcement of the National Awards.
The programme will end with a display by the military bands and fireworks, and an interlude by the National Steel Orchestra.
President Granger officially took the oath of office on May 20, at Parliament Building just after the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) announced the final results of the May 11, 2015 General and Regional elections.
