– Final viewing party slated for June 6 at Gravity
Heineken’s Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League (UCL) Series Promotion continued Saturday night at Jameel’s Bar, Public Road, Atlantic Gardens, East Coast Demerara, with Bobby Harrilall winning an official UEFA-branded wrist watch.
Foosball is a table assimilation of football and is part of Heineken’s UEFA Series Promotion at bars across Guyana. Heineken Brand Manager, Robert Hiscock expressed his excitement about the event, stating that it has been great thus far and he is especially enthused about the response at Jameel’s Bar where tons of patrons showed interest in the activity.
He believes Guyana is extremely passionate about football and as such, Heineken will ensure that the occasion continues to be special. Heineken is a global sponsor of the Champions League, and the brand is in its second year of its annual local promotion.
This year’s Promotion, like last year’s, will end with a massive UEFA Final viewing party slated for June 6 at Gravity Lounge. Hiscock reminded that tickets will not be sold for the final event. It will, however, be given out to patrons who participate in the promotion.
According to Hiscock, there will be weekly Heineken Promotions at Altitude Bar, Friendlies Bar, Son’s Pool Bar, Seepaul’s Bar and Seeta’s stating at 7:30pm leading up to the final. Patrons must participate in the promotions at those outlets to gain entry to the final party, where Trinidad and Tobago soca artiste, Farmer Nappy is slated to perform.
