The Government of Mexico has sent a congratulatory message to President David Granger, following
his victory in the General Elections held May 11, according to a press release from the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The release stated that Mexico reaffirms its determination to continue to strengthen the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Jose Antonio Meade, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, described Guyana as an important partner in the Caribbean Region.
