Ansa McAL Trading Limited will continue its Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League (UCL) Heineken Promotion tomorrow night at Jameel Bar, Atlantic Gardens, East Coast
Demerara following a nationwide kick start earlier this month.
The promotion has already touched down at several bars around Guyana with a Foosball Contest.
Foosball is a table assimilation of football, and is part of Heineken’s ongoing UEFA’s Promotion at bars across Guyana. Several participants and patrons have already won some fascinating prizes and branded Champions League memorabilia.
This year’s promotion, like last year’s, will end with a massive UEFA Final viewing party slated for June 6 at Gravity Lounge. Ansa McAl Heineken’s Brand Manager, Robert Hiscock reminded yesterday that tickets will not be sold for the final event.
According to Hiscock, there will be weekly Heineken Promotions at Altitude Bar, Friendlies Bar, Son’s Pool Bar, Seepaul’s Bar and Seeta’s stating at 7:30pm leading up to the final. Patrons must participate in the promotions at those outlets to gain entry to the final party.
“We’re doing well so far and we are looking forward to the massive final party where we will be featuring soca artiste Farmer Nappy out Trinidad and Tobago,” Hiscock said. Last year, Lil Rick was the guest artiste at the UEFA viewing final party.
It promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Meanwhile, the purchase of Heineken gives participants the chance to win prizes in the Foosball competition and ticket entitlements. Hiscock said that patrons can also look out for the Heineken team at bars and locations where tickets will be randomly given out to those who are drinking Heineken.
Hiscock said that Guyana is extremely passionate about their football and as such, Heineken will ensure something special is done for the UEFA Champions League. Heineken is a long-standing sponsor of the UEFA Champions League.
