Dear Editor,
Congratulations on your election to the Presidency of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. Echo is delighted that voters have elected you to the highest office in our beloved country.
As you know, we advocate for good environmental stewardship and have organized many local activities to raise environmental awareness among local communities. In that regard, we look forward to your active support, to our advocacy.
We are happy, too, with your public announcement on Saturday May 8, 2015, of your intention to set up a special environmental fund for future generations. We believe the best investment we can make for the future is the protection and preservation of our environment and natural resources. It will always pay rich dividends.
Best wishes as you begin your term in office.
