shortlisted a squad of 13 for the upcoming Guyana Cricket Board senior inter-county four-day tournament which is scheduled to commence on Saturday.
Fast bowler Ronsford Beaton will lead the team while all-rounder Ricardo Adams will serve as his deputy. The side is an experienced one with the likes of Royan Fredericks, Anthony Adams and Kevon Boodie included.
Wakenaam opener Wayne Osbourne and Leguan pacer Kevin Gordon have been recalled after performing creditably in the Busta competition which was won by Wakenaam. The squad reads: Ronsford Beaton (Captain), Ricardo Adams (Vice Captain), Wayne Osbourne, Anthony Adams, Ricardo Peters, Royan Fredericks, Kevon Boodie, Kemol Savory, Hemchand Persaud, Keisho Rooplall, Roopesh Motilall, Mark Gonsalves and Kevin Gordon. Vibert Johnson is the coach and Forbes Daniels the assistant coach.
