Sapit defeated Independence B Sports Club by 54 runs when action in the West Demerara Cricket Association (WDCA) T20 tournament continued last weekend.
Sapit batted first and managed 144-7 with Allan Rajanaeth scoring 37; Reeaz Esau snared 6-6 off four overs.
Independence B were sent packing for 90 in 15 overs in reply. Ameer Mohamed snared 4-10 from four overs. Other successful teams were Players, Wales, Zeelugt, Windsor Forest, Invaders, Mc Gill and Independence A.
The competition continues on Sunday with Meten-Meer- Zorg hosting Leonora and Wales staying at home to Independence A.
