Kwakwani seeking to get past Victory Valley to cop $70,000 first prize

Linden Inter-Ward Basketball final tonight  …

Kwakwani will this evening attempt to make a fairy tale return to basketball at Linden when they come up against Victory Valley/Scheme in the final of the Linden Inter Ward basketball tournament organised by the Linden Amateur Basketball Association.
Kwakwani scored an emphatic 72-49 win against Amelia’s Ward Front to reach the final behind a top score of 24 points by Shelroy Thomas and 14 by Domini Douglas.
In the other semifinal Victory Valley /Scheme were winners against Block 22/ Wisrock 74-23 as Keifer Tappin led them with 19 points and Chris Williams. Christopher  had 9 for the losers.
A top prize of $70,000 will go to the winners of the Kwakwani and Victory Valley/ Scheme encounter while the losers will get $50,000. The third place finisher will receive $30,000 while all four teams will get trophies also.
