Host Enterprise overcame Young Achievers by 54 runs to win the final of a three team T20
tournament on Sunday last.
Batting first the home team posted 167-5 with Bhaskar Yadram scoring 71, Mankad Balkisoon 35 and Vivian Albert 21. Terrence King and Romell Small claimed two wickets each. Young Achievers who drew the bye to the final were bowled out for 113 in 20 overs in reply. Yadram captured 5-20 from four overs and Dave Persaud 2-20.
In the lone semi final, Enterprise beat Enmore by 27 runs. Batting first, Enterprise scored 148-9. Dave Persaud got 24, Yadram 22 and Rohan Mangal 21. Gavin Moriah picked up 3-24. Enmore responded with 121 all out in 18.1 overs. Avis Persaud made 23; Yuvraj Dyal snared 3-14 and Yadram 3-27. Enterprise received a trophy. The competition was organized by the host.
