Herstelling Raiders will have the opportunity of pulling ahead of rivals Grove Hi tech when competition
in the Lens Craft Optical / East Bank Football Association Under-13 league continues today at the Grove Playfield.
Locked on 9 points with Grove with the latter ahead on goal difference, Herstelling will oppose Mocha Champs in today’s feature of a double with the intention of taking over the top spot. Leading their charge will be forward Shoran James who has five goals from four matches including a hat-trick.
Royston Kennedy will team up with James and Elisha Crawford as they hunt full points. Mocha on the other hand will be aiming for an improved performance having won one game whilst drawing one and losing one. They are currently in fifth place in the seven team competition.
Today’s opening game brings together Kuru Kururu Warriors and Craig in a bottom of the table clash; the Warriors are on a single point from their three matches to date while Craig are not yet off the mark from a similar amount of matches.
Kick off time is 10:00hrs.
