A leaked request from the Office of the President to the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company has revealed that an increase in credit limit of one million dollars has been sought (letter dated April 20, 2015) for a cellphone assigned to Advisor to the President on Governance, Gail Teixeira.
Kaieteur News believes that taxpayers, whose dollars are being spent, would be more than glad to be told of what communication necessitates this government functionary having a US$5000 credit limit increase.
Note well, the correspondence (number redacted by KN) gives the impression that the figure will be added to the existing limit. (See letter below)
