Defending champions East Bank Essequibo will begin their campaign against Pomeroon at Imam
Bacchus ground, Affiance when the Essequibo Cricket Board (ECB)/Busta 50-over festival commences on Friday.
In other first round fixtures, Wakenaam will take on Bartica at Pomona, Leguan will face South Essequibo at New Opportunity Corps (NOC) ground and North will battle Central Essequibo at Anna Regina.
The semi final will be contested on Saturday at NOC and Imam Bacchus grounds, while the final will be played on Sunday at Imam Bacchus. The first place team will take home a trophy and $75,000 and the runner up a trophy and $25,000.
Among the players expected to be on show are Kevon Boodie, Travis Drakes and Kemol Savory (East Bank), Ronsford Beaton (Central), Norman Fredericks, Anthony Adams and Royan Fredericks (South), Keemo Paul and Ricardo Adams (Wakenaam).
