Junior’s Jewellery & Pawn Shop has once again extended its goodwill to the
Petra Organisation, pledging an exquisitely designed gold chain which will go to the Highest Goalscorer of the Busta Soft Shoe Football Competition.
Proprietor of the establishment Ferdinand Bacchus in a simple ceremony which was conducted at the entity’s location on Robb Street yesterday, made the presentation to Co-Director of the Organisation Troy Mendonca.
Mendonca in his response thanked Bacchus, who he said has long been a staunch supporter of many of the Organisation’s projects over the years.
Bacchus in his brief remarks told the gathering of media operatives that even though football receive solid support from the corporate community, he still felt that not enough incentives are given for outstanding individual performances, adding that the area in which he is offering his donation towards is one which has always enjoyed his support.
