Dear Editor,
The once hallowed halls of 41Robb Street, where decency and fair play was a given, has descended into the bowels of hades. It has become a diseased, corrupt and evil temple, where heartless humans go to conjure up and perform rituals of depravity on a defenseless populace.
As a youth from Enmore, a trip to Freedom House was likened to a pilgrimage. It was an opportunity to be spoken to by the great ones, Comrades. Cheddi, Janet, Boysie, EMG Wilson, Moneer Khan, Brindley Benn, CV Nunes, Moses Nagamootoo, Feroze Mohamed, Pandit Reepu, Navin, Shree-Chand and others. This once revered shrine of the poor, the tired, the down trodden, the home of Michael Forde and the Enmore Martyrs has become a den of thieves and indecent heartless scum of the earth.
The “high priest”, who sits in his dark windowless sanctuary, afraid of sleeping in his own mansion, concocts schemes everyday whereby he can enrich his friends and acolytes. This man has no shame and he knows that his time is up.
I am convinced the he is losing it. His daily rantings and convoluted pronouncements convey the feeling that he needs to have a word with his spiritual adviser. It will serve him well to return to his Scriptures:
“Those who do selfless services are not bound by Karma. Such an unselfish individual attain Mukti even before death. (the Mahatma ).Nothing is beyond the reach of those who have other people’s interest in their heart.”
Rest assured this man has a reservation to the darkest corner of hell. He should seek penance and ask Almighty God for forgiveness so that he may have control over his thoughts, words and deeds. He and his cohorts have inflicted too much pain and suffering on this dear land. The people of our beloved country are tired and needs to rest. We need to be unburdened of this dead weight called PPP/C. God knows this nation deserves it.
The “supreme leader” of 41 Robb Street should do the honorable thing – fade away into the sunset. Each passing day gets him closer to becoming the most hated GUYANESE ever.
Each person’s mental state has a tremendous impact on their personal being and their surroundings. It is proven that a person’s thoughts emit potent energy enough to influence others. If the mind is pure, that pureness of unadulterated truth will permeate and inspire others. Equally, if the mind is negative, everyone around you will see you as such and even start acting negative. Thoughts transcended become like a boomerang; it may strike its target, it will also return directly to you with equal velocity.
Shree Krishna in Bhagavad Geeta 3.21:
Yad yad aacharti sréshthas tat tad évétarö janaha. Sa yat pramaanam kuruté lökas tad anuvartaté.
“Whatever noble people do, others will follow. Whatever standard they set, the world will emulate.”
We must see goodness in all, at all times.
Which are you el supremo? Noble or Decadent. The writings are on the wall. Heed it for it may be too late.
The UNITY TRAIN has left the station. There is no stopping it until Georgetown is once again a proud Garden city, until sugar, rice, bauxite, forestry and mining industries are purged of all its corrupt miscreants. The day of reckoning is MAY 11.
PPP/C beware. The UNITY TRAIN has a trump card – a secret weapon, it’s called Bharat Jagdeo. Let him speak, he will hand us the election on a silver platter.
Amar Chinkan
