Nomination Day come and gone and lef nuff people surprise. One old man, who was 99, dead in Guyana de same day when he hear that Jagdeo, that scamp, gone back pun de list.
Before he dead, he call two friends, one in Haiti who is 98 and another one in Obama country, who is 97. When he done talk to dem is all three of dem drop dead.
Dem end up before St. Peter at de Pearly Gates. Dem see couple people on de way—dem see Burnham, dem see Cheddi, dem see Janet and dem see Hoyte.
When dem meet de gate dem tell St. Peter that dem think dem see Brassingtan, that fat crook. Peter tell dem that he can’t come nowhere close to this gate. In fact, he can’t put he foot on de road to de gate.
That is how de American ask Peter when he country gun done wid de recession. Peter tell him 200 years and de man start cry. Me children and grandchildren wouldn’t live to see that.
De Haitian ask Peter, “When will my country be prosperous.” Peter tell him 100 years. He start cry too. He seh same thing wid me. Me wife and children can’t live to see that happen.
De Guyanese walk up to Peter and ask, “When will Guyana be corruption free?” Peter start cry. Then he seh to de Guyanese, “I will not be around to see that day.”
De Guyanese then tell Peter that he learn five things that he always use to remember in life. One was to forgive you enemy but remember de bastard’s name.
Another was to remember that money can’t buy happiness but it more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes Benz that on a bicycle.
Jagdeo and he friends learn that so good that now-a-days dem does behave like dem ain’t care. Dem does cry nuff but none of dem don’t cry pun a bicycle.
And as fuh deh names? De whole of Guyana gun forgive dem but will always rememba dem bastards names.
Talk half and don’t forgive these bastards.
