The driver of motor car HC 1240 is wanted by the authorities after crashing his car and escaping from the scene. The man, identified as Ryan Lackram, did not heed police warning to avoid drinking and driving, as he was allegedly in a drunken state when it was reported that he was driving at terrific speed around 22:00 hrs on Sunday.
The man lost control of the car which crashed into a lamp post at Adelphi, East Canje, then slammed into the fence of Brian Ramsarran’s residence.
The car then spun out of control before breaking a bridge of the same resident and crashing into two other fences, damaging them as well.
Beer and rum bottles were found in the vehicle and residents reported that the man was drinking during the day.
The man, after crashing the car came out and ran away. Luckily no one was in the path of the out of control vehicle. A motor cyclist stated that he has to count his lucky stars. He froze when he saw the car veer to his side of the road and started to spin out of control.
