Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after more than 30 years of service, on Wednesday said goodbye to her staff and the Minister.
The official, a few weeks ago, accepted an offer to be the Prime Ministerial candidate for the ruling People’s Progressive Party/Civic for the May 11 general elections.
Under regulations, Harper had to step down from her post in order to participate in the elections.
