The Guyana Tennis Association (GLTA) elected its 2015 Executive during its Annual General Meeting held on Friday March 27th 2014 at the Georgetown Cricket Club Pavilion on Shiv Chanderpaul Drive in Bourda. Grace McCalman has been re-elected the President for a second term. Captain John Flores, President of the Guyana Volleyball Federation performed the duties of the Returning Officer.

Seven tennis Clubs were financially affiliated and represented at the meeting and these were Georgetown Cricket Club, Roraima Tennis Club, Diamond Tennis Club, Le Ressouvenir Tennis Club, Non Pariel Tennis Club, Park Players Tennis Club and the recently established Rebel Tennis Club.

3. 1st Vice-President– Samuel Barakat (Le Ressouvenir Club)
4. 2nd Vice-President – Ramesh Seebarran (Diamond Club)
5. Secretary – Elizabeth Persaud (Park Players Club)
6. Treasurer – Illeana Boodhoo (Park Players Club)
7. Assistant Secretary/Secretary – Oswin Coggins (Roraima Club)
8. Committee Member – Tandy Primo (Non-Pariel Club)
9. Committee Member – Scheherazade Khan (Park Players Club)
10. Committee Member – William Spangler (Park Players Club)
11. Committee Member – Charles Adams (Non-Pariel Club)
12. Public Relations Officer – Jamal Goodluck (Rebel Club)
After welcoming the new clubs and requesting their support for the development of the sport here, McCalman stated, “I promise to do my best for my final year as President but I also need to know that my entire executive committee will do the same.” Despite the lack of facilities the association was able to run off several events and will look to keep their players active during this year.
