The Everest Cricket Club (ECC) has rewarded their U-13 team for winning the Georgetown Cricket Association/ Banks Malta Supreme U-13 tournament.

Everest defeated Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) by 40 runs to capture the title recently at Malteenoes SC ground.
At a ceremony held at the club’s pavilion on Friday night last, the players were presented with plaques and medals for their efforts.
President of the Everest Cricket Club, Stephen Lewis urged the youths to take the game seriously and also focus on their education. He also spoke well of the players and noted that consistency, focus and commitment are required to achieve greater heights.
Lewis stated that the club will ensure that their players are involved in more cricket so that that they can continue to improve.
