Congratulations to Ravens Coach Darcel Harris, the former national point guard became the first national basketball head coach in his debut series to sweep an international opponent. Harris joins his predecessor Ravens icon Hewley Henry and Celtics Tieran Caesar as the only other Guyanese head coaches that have swept international oppositions.
Hewley Henry was player/coach when Guyana led by Eagles’ Compton Nicholson swept Suriname 3-0 in May 1969. Playing at Queen’s College auditorium, Guyana won Game One 48-35, player/coach Hewely Henry and Captain Compton Nicholson top scored with 10pts each, while Ossie Devonish supported with 9pts. For Suriname Van Wiligen scored a game high 12pts, Tonch and Wyhurst finished with 7pts each.
Game two, Guyana won 48-29. Michael Brushe top scored with 15pts, Hewley Henry 10pts.
Game three, Guyana won 43- 39. Ossie Devonish 10pts , Michael Brusche 10pts. For Suriname Van Wiligen scored a game high 15pts.

Teiran Caesar joined Hewley Henry when his charges led by Lugard Mohan swept Trinidad and Tobago in 1997 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall. Game one, Guyana won 75-66. Skipper Lugard Mohan led from the front with 19pts, Rawlwin Loncke 16pts, Remington Ram 14pts, Lancelot Loncke 11pts and 12 rebounds. For Trinidad and Tobago; Ashley Bynoe scored 16pts, Dennison Clarke 12pts and veteran Deryck James 12pts.
Game two, Guyana won 81-74. Rawlwin Loncke 21 pts and 10 rebounds, Lorenzo Withrite 19pts, 9 rebounds, Lugard Mohan 13pts, Lancelot Loncke 12pts, 13 rebounds were the top performers. For Trinidad and Tobago Ashley Bynoe had 12pts, Daren Baptiste 11pts and Dennison Clarke 10pts.
Game Three, Guyana won 76-67. Lorenzo Withrite 19pts, 10 rebounds, Lancelot Loncke 18pts 12 rebounds, Rawlwin Loncke 13pts led the rout. For Trinidad and Tobago Daren Baptiste had 14pts and Raymond Joseph 14pts.

Game one Guyana won 76 to 73. Travis Burnett 17pts 7 steals, Shelroy Thomas 14pts, Captain Akeem Kanhai 11pts 4 steals 7 assists, Ryan Gullen 10pts, Dave Causway 10pts. For Bermuda Captain Sullivan Phillips 18pts, Dean Jones 17pts, Chris Crampler 11pts, Jeron Haley 9pts.
Game two Guyana won 66-55. Travis Burnett scored 16pts, Captain Akeem Kanhai 14pts 7 rebounds and Selroy Thomas 13pts. For Bermuda Jason Lowe 21 pts, Captain Sullivan Phillips 14 pts and Dean Jones 11pts were the top shots.
Game three, Guyana won 59-56. Ryan Gullen 13pts, Shelroy Thomas 12pts 9 rebounds, Travis Burnett 9pts led Guyana. For Bermuda Jonathon Lowe 12pts, Jason Lowe 11pts Chris Crumpler 11 pts, Captain Sullivan Phillips 7pts fought back.
