Police in “G” Division may soon institute charges against 22-year-old Anthony Joseph, the man who was at the time living with 26-year-old Quineza Patricia Benn, whose body was discovered Tuesday. She was found in a clump of bushes, at Charityon Tuesday morning.
Joseph has since confessed to the police about killing Benn, a mother of two young children, one, five and the other three-years-old.
Benn’s body bore visible marks to the centre of her head, face and lips. The police, during their investigations, arrested two men, including Joseph, and placed them in custody at the Charity Outpost.
Benn’s grandmother, Mary, who cared for her ever since her mother had left her in her care, said that Joseph had threatened to kill the woman.
Mary Benn said that her granddaughter lived in an abusive relationship with Joseph and she was forced to take care of Benn’s two young children. The senior Benn last saw her granddaughter on Sunday.
