Trophy Stall provides beautiful winner’s trophy
Bakewell yesterday handed over a cheque for an undisclosed sum to the organisers
of the 25th Kashif and Shanghai Football tournament.
As simple as the presentation was, the event marked 23 years since the company is behind the tournament, something Rajin Ganga said will continue.
Kashif Muhammad thanked Bakewell for always believing in his Organisation and said that they’re looking forward for their continued support to help make their tournament a success.
Meanwhile, Ramesh Sunich of the Trophy Stall, also threw his support behind the event. Sunich, an ardent sports fan and support, provided the trophy that will go to the winner of the tournament. The large beautiful piece was handed over to Aubrey ‘Shanghai’ Major.
The Kashif and Shanghai Football tournament kicks off on Friday at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground and concludes on April 5 at the Guyana National Stadium.
