– Plays Guyana in three-game International Series
By Edison Jefford
Bermuda’s Men National Basketball Team has arrived in Guyana to play a three game series that begins at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall tomorrow night. The Bermudian team will play Guyana in what is expected to be a real test of Guyana’s basketball strength.
The star-studded Bermudian team bounces into action in the feature game each night against the Guyanese that placed fifth at the Caribbean Championships in Tortola, the British Virgin Islands last year. This 2015 International Series is part of Guyana’s preparation for CBC Championships in June.
Kaieteur Sport presents the profiles of some of the Bermudian players, who will continue against Guyana on Thursday before the final game Saturday night. Preceding games are scheduled each night to introduce the featured showdown of the three-game series.
The other members of the Bermudian National Team and Staff are Kevin Spencer (player), Jeron Haley (player), Vernon Lamb III (player) and Jamie Cedenio (player); Carl Mackenzie (Team Doctor) and Bermuda Basketball Association President, Greg Todd.
