Ramnarine returned as WCC head

Totaram Ramnarine was re-elected unopposed as Chairman of the Wakenaam Cricket Committee (WCC) when the body held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday last in Good Success.
Navishaul Pooran is the Vice Chairman, while Nazeer Mohamed will continue to serve as the Secretary. Bhawanie Persaud retained his position as the Treasurer; Loaknauth Persaud is the Assistant Secretary Treasurer and Vickram Ramanrine the Public Relations Officer.
The body will name its respective committees at their first executive meeting on Monday.
Ramnarine who is also an umpire and a match referee thanked the members for their support and urged his fellow executive to work together for the development of the game on the island.
