Today is Phagwah and is a joyous festival. Is a lot of water, powder, abeer and nuff love. Some gun give you lipstick and some gun give you roosh. Dem boys gun give you powder and powder you poosh.
Is a holiday and dem boys in happy spirit. Dem love to celebrate all dem holiday. Fuh dem is one fuh all and all fuh one. Dem smiling whole day.
Somebody once said, “Your smile is your logo; your personality is your business card; how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark.”
Today, dem boys trademark is to keep de whole of Guyana smiling. However, tomorrow and de rest of de days in de year dem mean to mek some people miserable just like how a certain husband living in misery.
Dem boys ain’t calling he name because dem don’t want nobody get upset today. Whoever it fit leh dem pull de string and twist dem mouth or dem face or whatever dem want twist.
This husband so fed up and upset wid de woman who he married that he send a SMS to he mudder in law. “Your product not cooking food properly. She not even doing that special thing properly.”
Dem boys hear that de smart mudder in-law reply to she son in law. “Product sold; seal open, warranty expire, manufacturer not responsible.”
Dem boys hear that de husband plan fuh throw she off de Harbour Bridge today fuh Phagwah.
But dem boys have a message fuh that husband. Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship. It’s not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end.
Talk half and enjoy Phagwah but remember happy living nah long life.
